8" Wood Carved Nativity Set

This nativity was hand carved out of pine wood by an artisan in Guatemala. The largest figures stand at 8" tall and all of the figures feature dark red robes and fun, colorful flowers. The Baby Jesus figurine is separate from the crib because in Guatemala, the baby is hidden until Christmas Eve, when families put him out in the crib. The nativity weighs very little but it is durable, so it should last a long time.

The artist who crafts these nativities paints different patterns on each one and so each one is unique and makes the ideal Christmas collectible. There are 9 pieces in this nativity: Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus and His crib, the three wise men, and the donkey and the cow. You can remove the horns and ears of the cow to store them safely. *Please keep in mind that these removable pieces need to be kept away from very small children, as they may pose a choking hazard.*
